VDNH exhibition of achievements of National Economy of the USSR was established in 1959. Jun 16, 1959 VDNH USSR hospitably opened its doors to visitors to the pavilions.. In 1963 the USSR Council of Ministers adopted a decree «VDNH working on restructuring the Soviet Union». The exhibition has become based on supply-industry basis. Thematic exhibitions and shows have become paramount in all of the pavilions. On the basis of an exchange of experiences and training for industry, construction, agriculture. Such an organization has significantly accelerate the introduction of new technology, modern methods of work. Every year the VDNH Soviet Union, approximately 300 exhibitions and shows, which show more than 100 exhibits.
23 June 1992 the President of the Russian Federation and the decision of the Government of Russia Exhibition Center was renamed the Public Joint Stock Company «All-Russia Exhibition Center» (GAO VVC).
